Zenith Bank owes us an explanation - Reuben Abati

Reuben Abati, the former special adviser on media and publicity to President Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the controversial photo of Zenith Bank staff kneeling before Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state.
Photos of Zenith Bank management team reportedly begging Fayose were circulated on social media on Thursday, June 23.

According to the governor, they came to beg him over the involvement of the bank in the funding of the June 21, 2014 state governorship election of the governor.
The pictures surfaced after Zenith Bank denied funding Fayose’s campaign during the 2014 governorship election in Ekiti state.
The EFCC, on Monday, June 20, froze two personal accounts of Fayose as part of investigation into N4.7billion Fayose allegedly received from the Office of the National Security Adviser during his election campaign in 2014.
However, Fayose claimed his campaign was majorly funded by Zenith Bank.
